Ships on the water and under construction are faced for the foreseeable future with severely distorted demand scenarios. The room to manoeuvre for ship financing banks is widely reduced only providing very limited resources for new business coupled with a lack of equity investors. In order to bridge these bottlenecks, not only with regard to current refinancing needs but also concerning future credit requirements, revised finance possibilities as well as altered market conditions have to be considered. Thus alternatives have to be developed which more than ever before have to be aligned towards an optimisation of the cost structure, revenues and growth.

- on the other hand, offering independent advisory services to financial institutions, ship owners and service providers facing credit, operational and trading challenges due to severe market conditions. In addition Deutsche Seewert will provide those who have the necessary financial means with strategic advice on where investments should be directed together with an in-depth analysis of their land based organisation and existing shipping portfolio.
